Default Second Profession

As the most people in this game, i have two professions. I have heard that it is possible to set the second profession again. Well, is it possible? And if it is possible, where/how can i do it?

You can't change professions after Pre-Searing until after you've ascended and finished all the ' ____ Path' quests, where the blank is all the professions you didn't choose. (Monk's Path, etc.)

The quests open up after you finished another one in Droknar's forge. I forget the name, but it requires you go to all the secondary towns within the Crystal Desert.

Hero's Journey is the name of the quest in Droknar's. Also, you have to be Ascended before you can access the Path quests.

Vanyi in Droknar's Forge gives you the quest to report to the 4 spirits in the desert, by doing their quests, they will allow you to change secondary. Keep in mind that you'll have to ascend before doing these quests. These quests are all "Go Into the desert and slay said creature." They also accumulate you 1k exp for completing them<x4= 4k exp easy off doing them, you don't have to switch classes to get the reward.>

Hope this helped.

Well, what does it mean to be "Ascended"? How do i ascend? Btw, the search-button won't work. It comes up a blank page...

You complete all three missions in the Crystal Desert, which is right after the Maguuma Jungle missions.

Just keep going mission by mission and primary quest by primary quest and you will get there.

Eventually in the desert after you have ascended ( meaning finishing the 3 co-ops, and fighting a stronger version of yerself ) and then finishing dragons lair ( or getting run to droks from beacons' ) Vanyi ( near storage ) will tell you to travel to the 3 desert outposts, a ghost in each area will tell you about a skill switching quest, ( basically going out and killing a boss ) for each profession.

You do not have to change professions if you don't want but can do the quests for xp.

Important note: You can switch secondary professions as many times as you want, and if you ever switch back to a prior profession, you will have allthe skills aquired in the profession back the way it was when you first switched, so no fear of having to buy or reaquire all the skills you had prior to switching.

:::End Transmission:::

I guild member ascended tonight. Ended in Dragon's Lair. They decided to make sure all quest in desert where complete before doing the lair. They had missed one so they went to do it. The betrothed I think in seeker's. Anyway the warp to seeker's and there was a ghostly figure with an ! above it's head. It was the quest to change professions. Monk I think. So I guess either it was a glitch. Or it's automated to put these quest active after the doppleganger. Most people move onwards throught Dragon's Lair then Forge. But it apparently isn't required. When this member contacted me about it I told them to check the other outpost/cities. All the profession quest where there and now they have even more Desert quest to complete.

Once you beat your Doppleganger, you are ascended. You don't have to beat Glint to ascend. So yes, technically you could do the path quests first.
